Charlottesville Ballet’s Summer Intensive is designed for intermediate/advanced students ages 11 – Adult. Each day begins with a ballet technique class, followed by classes in pointe, variations, partnering, contemporary, jazz, or modern dance.
Participants will have the chance to learn repertory from Charlottesville Ballet’s upcoming 2016-2017 professional season.  The intensive culminates with an informal Summer Showcase performance at the end of the three-week program on August 12, 6pm.

10:00-11:30am: Technique Class
11:45-12:45pm: Pointe/Contemporary/Jazz/Anatomy/Composition/Choreography/Variations
12:45-1:15pm: Lunch
1:15-1:45pm: Pointe/Contemporary/Jazz/Anatomy/Composition/Choreography/Variations
2:00-3:00pm: Repertory/Rehearsal
