It’s that time of year again – it’s just early enough that you’re not quite stressed about the holidays, but close enough to December that you have holiday shopping in the back of your mind.
But never fear – the ballet is here! And we’re here to help with holiday gift suggestions:
Goods: Charlottesville Ballet is participating in the Belk Charity Sale, which will take place on Saturday, November 5 from 6:00am – 10:00am. We know it’s early – but apparently the sales are great and it’s a great opportunity to support the ballet! How it works: $5 tickets to the private shopping event are available at the CB Front Desk (during regular business hours, and cash only). The ticket gets you into the sale, and the proceeds from the ticket purchase directly benefit the ballet. It’s a great way to support your ballet, gain access to a great sale, and see CB Staff bright and early the morning of Nov. 5!
Experiences: Charlottesville Ballet opens its ninth performance season on December 3 with its production of The Nutcracker in Lynchburg, and continues through December 22 with performances in Culpeper and Charlottesville. Taking a friend or family member to the ballet is a magical (and hopefully memorable!) experience for everyone. That Special Someone: Charlottesville Ballet’s UpFront: Evening of Romance is a perfect event to bring your special someone to in February – no worrying about last-minute Valentine’s gifts if you plan ahead this year! How it works: Tickets for the event are available online at CharlottesvilleBallet.org; wine and hors d’oeuvres are included – flowers are on you though!
