Summer Attire: There are no uniform requirements for summer classes. Students should wear any clothing they can easily move in; any color workout clothing or dance attire is acceptable. Students must wear the proper dance shoes needed for class and hair should be pulled back neatly off of the neck and out of the face.

- Use the tables below to register for your desired dance class.
- The tuition listed is for the full 6-week summer session. Your credit card will be charged upon submitting your online registration.
- Payment is due IN FULL upon registration. Click the “Register” button next to the class below that you wish to register for. If a class is full, click the “Waitlist” button next to the class to be added to our waiting list. We will contact you if a space becomes available.

All CB Moves classes are FREE of charge. Adaptive classes are for children with physical and/or intellectual disabilities. A parent or caregiver is welcome to take the class with the student. Only the student needs to be registered. Click here for more information.
Adaptive Students
We also welcome any child with a disability who feels comfortable in a more academic dance class setting, without an assistant or caregiver, to join in any of our First Steps, Children’s Division, or Student Division classes. We recognize that no child learns the same; everyone has unique and diverse needs that deserve to be celebrated and included.
For any class suggestions, to request accommodations (like a class assistant or buddy for your child), or for any other request you would like to make for your child to be successful in their classes at CBA this year (ex. visual schedules, stim toys, time or space to decompress), please email CBA Principal Heather Rogers at [email protected].
Summer 2025 Tuition:
Registration fees are waived for CBA summer classes. Tuition is automatically charged in full upon enrollment.

Charlottesville Ballet Academy Summer Camps

Charlottesville Ballet’s Professional Summer Intensive
The Charlottesville Ballet Summer Intensive is an eight-week program designed for dancers ages 8 to 20 who seek rigorous technical training and artistic coaching in pursuit of a professional career in dance. Each day begins with a ballet technique class followed by additional classes that may include pointe, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, composition, improvisation, African dance, and choreography.
