Charlottesville Ballet’s Dancers for Dancers (D4D) program has reached the 2025 goal of raising $25,000! Check out some of the creative ways our students raised money to support their peers this year:

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we are committed to making dance accessible to our community. Each year Charlottesville Ballet Academy typically gives $300,000 in scholarships and financial aid from the Keith Lee Dance Fund as part of our mission to ensure that dance is something everyBODY can enjoy. D4D fosters a community where students help raise the funds that contribute towards their peers’ scholarships. To date, our students have raised more than $100K through six fundraisers!
For CBA students who participated in the fundraiser there are fun prizes to be won, including a voucher for a FREE donut to The Donut Kitchen located in Pantops!
D4D PRIZE LEVELS
- Participation – Free D4D Donut Voucher
- $30 – D4D Button
- $50 – CB Pen + Donut Toy
- $100 – CB Sticker
- $250 – Autographed Pointe Shoes
- $500 – Private Lesson w/ a CB Artist
- $750 – CBA Mug or Picture Frame
- Top 10 Fundraisers – D4D Hall of Fame with your photograph displayed in our CBA lobbies
Each dancer will receive all of the preceding prizes PLUS the prize at the level he or she reaches. For example, a dancer who raises $100 will be awarded the donut voucher, button, pen + donut toy, and sticker.
