Charlottesville Ballet’s Summer Intensive is designed for intermediate/advanced students ages 10 – Adult. Each day begins with a ballet technique class, followed by classes in pointe, variations, partnering, contemporary, jazz, or modern dance. The SI program also includes special workshops in acting, theater, hair & makeup, lighting, and anatomy.  Participants will also  learn material from the repertory of Charlottesville Ballet’s professional company.  The intensive culminates with an informal Summer Showcase performance at the end of the three-week program.
