SWEETEN THE SEASON WITH LYNCHBURG’S NUTCRACKER!
Local dancers join Charlottesville Ballet’s professional company onstage with live music by the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra. Join Clara and her magical Nutcracker doll for a journey through Lands of Snowflakes and Sweets in the enchanting 90-minute performance that’s sure to delight the entire family!

JOIN US FOR THE “CLASS WITH CLARA” HOLIDAY EVENT! Your child can experience the magic of The Nutcracker after the 2:00pm performance by taking a ballet class onstage with Clara and her friends! Perfect for boys and girls ages 3-8, participants learn introductory ballet steps and have photo opportunities with the dancers while adults enjoy a holiday cocktail toast with artists from Charlottesville Ballet. Enrich your family experience and join us for a pre-performance lecture to have a holiday cocktail and meet the artists. Get behind the scenes of The Nutcracker with a 30 minute introduction to the performance including discussions of choreography, music, and the process of bringing ballet to the stage.
