We are delighted to announce Lori Jablonski as our newest CBA Team Member! Beginning this month, Lori will take over the new position of Academy Manager, and we are absolutely delighted to introduce her to our CBA family and community.
You will see Lori at the Front Desk on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and we hope you will stop by and say hello! Lori will help with general CBA operations, registration, and be able to answer any CBA questions you might have! She will also take over the famous “[email protected]” e-mail address!
Lori comes to us with lots of experience in the dance world! She began dancing at the age of seven, and hails originally from Rochester, New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Entrepreneurial Studies from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. While at Muhlenberg, Lori performed in numerous concerts choreographed by Muhlenberg College students, faculty and guest artists. She was a member of the Muhlenberg Dance Association and the student performing tap company, Copasetic Rhythms. After graduating, Lori worked as a performer at Walt Disney World, performing in shows and parades at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida.
Lori moved to Charlottesville in 2006 and continued her dance training, teaching and performing. She taught dance at Dance Explosion and the Charlottesville Performing Arts School. Lori performed with modern dance companies, inFluxdance, Miki Liszt Dance Company, R Squared and UpRooted Dance. Lori also served as Director of Operations for Miki Liszt Dance Company. In addition to studying dance and business, Lori studied graphic design at Parsons The New School for Design and is the owner of Blue Knot Designs.
