Summer Intensive


Charlottesville Ballet Summer Intensive 2013

MeganCharlottesville Ballet’s Summer Intensive is designed for intermediate/advanced students ages 10 – Adult. Each day begins with a ballet technique class, followed by classes in pointe, variations, partnering, contemporary, jazz, or modern dance.

Participants will also learn material from the repertory of Charlottesville Ballet’s professional company.  The intensive culminates with an informal Summer Showcase performance at the end of the two week program.

Two Week Intensive in the New Charlottesville Facility

Week 1: Monday, August 5 – Friday, August 9
Week 2: Monday, August 12 – Friday, August 16

Daily Schedule: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Summer Showcase: Friday, August 16 @ 6:00pm

Tuition:

Summer Intensive tuition is $750 for the two-week program, which includes all classes, materials for creative projects, and a performance fee for the Summer Showcase at the end of the week.

*Charlottesville Ballet encourages students to attend the full two-week program, but will also allow students to attend the Week 1 Session from August 5 – August 9.  Tuition for the one-week program is $400.

Once a student has successfully auditioned, a deposit of $100.00 is due by June 15th, 2013 in order to hold his or her place in the program. The tuition balance is due August 1st, 2013 before the program begins.  Checks can be made payable to Charlottesville Ballet and mailed to the new address:
