Moira’s Tour Diary Part 2

Hi everyone!

It was a long and eventful but very fun weekend in Lynchburg.  Sunday morning we enjoyed breakfast at Market at Main before class at Dance Theatre of Lynchburg with Keith Lee.

Our class and rehearsal were held in the beautiful sky studio on the top floor of Dance Theatre’s building-there’s an incredible view of the city and you can hear trains coming through town every hour or so.  It looks like a beautiful loft apartment (and I kind of want to move in)!

We began work on Keith’s piece after class: it’s about the plight of the Rastafarians.  It’s a beautiful piece set to equally gorgeous music.  Fellow C’ville Ballet dancer Elisa Alexander took some beautiful pictures of the rehearsal that I’d love to share with you!

As you can see, it was quite the eventful day!  We had a safe and pleasant return to Charlottesville (with yet another stop at Sonic!).  I am a little sad to see this weekend go, but I look forward to our next Lynchburg weekend in February!

Until next time,
Moira
